I absolutely love the design, it feels really good on my side and holds my firearm as it should. It’s hard to find a left handed optic ready with a light option and you hit the nail on the head with all 3. Thanks for the perfection of the holster and I will highly recommend these to others.
Belt adjustment tabs slide around and feel cheap. If you don’t have a belt that can get crazy tight the holster will be a bit floppy and will be able to move up and down your belt.
Other than that the holster itself has great retention, the fits my Glock 19x with stream light tlr1HL perfect.
I purchased the Phalanx holster for my Staccato HD P4 with an RMR and TLR-7HLX and so far, I have nothing but great things to speak of this particular holster. It fits the gun perfectly, has great quality material usage and construction is top notch. So far, the only gripe I have about Hellhound is that this is the only OWB holster they make from my recollection at time of typing this review, and they haven't made a more concealable holster design than the Phalanx. Don't get me wrong it's still concealable if you have a jacket on but it does poke alot more than some other pancake style OWB holsters(T-Rex Arms Ironside, Bravo Concealment, etc.) If you set this holster up for competition work it'll do a great job however, and despite this being a minor negative for concealability it's still totally usable as a CCW holster in cooler temperatures. All in all, I am impressed by the quality of product offered, and will gladly purchase another OWB holster if/when I require it from Hellhound.
Very comfortable with good retention
I've tried several holsters from other companies, and this one has got to be my favorite so far. No, they are not all created equal. This one just rocks. Retention is great. It looks great. And I was able to get it adopted to a QLS system for my range belt pretty easily. Highly recommended, will definitely be getting another one for another gun.
