Apollo Overview
The pillow wedge works great and makes carry more comfortable. I do think it could be wider to cover the bottom edges of the holster to make it a little more comfortable when sitting. Also the sticky back on the Velcro for the pillow wedge doesn’t stick to the cordura very well but other than that it is a great addition to any holster especially for appendix carry.
Excellent item, really makes the difference when carrying appendix for a lengthy time. I have a couple other makes of these one from cotton and one from foam. These are the best by far and worth the investment.
I have been wanting a side car set up for my EDC Glock 19 for a good while. I saw a picture of a Hellhound Apollo on Reddit and bookmarked the website. I'm so glad I pulled the trigger (heh). It is incredibly comfortable. The quality is great.
My second holster for my new Glock 48 is on the way.
I'll probably be buying a competition version of the Apollo for a Glock 17 in trnnesr future. I can't make that work for the memorial day sale. I guess I'll keep fingers crossed for a July 4th sale. 😀
Ive tried the tier 1 wedge and a few others but those always left some sort of "hot spot". This pillow does not. It took a couple days of wearing it to adjust the fill in the pillow but once I got it right, there was a major improvement.
