Hydra Series IWB Holster

I'm giving this company a 5 star everything review. From the name of the company,to the badass stickers they send, to the extremely short AF lead times, to the most and downright sick holster. This company is most definitely who I'm coming to first for every gun I purchase from here on. And I'm not even gonna rant on the comfort of the holster. I carry nice size guns and this holster kept making me check to see if it's still there all day. I kept thinking I hope I didn't leave my gun somewhere. Lol... Great company.

First off, the fit to the gun is perfect. Sweat guard height is perfect and the holster clicks onto the gun just right. I love the dual clip designs, they are very stable on the draw and keep the gun in place really nicely.
I ordered mine with a Cordura wrap, so it looks absolutely killer. This Cordura wrap comes with some downsides though. I have noticed that bothe sides of the channel that runs along the top of the gun have bubbles in the Cordura, and it wants to peel back at the top of the holster because there is a bubble right at the top. I have hit it with a blow dryer and tried to get it to stick down, but it doesn't want to comply. I will have to turn it up and try a heat gun next.
The other downside i had is mostly related to personal preference. I didn't like the metal clips it came with at all. Too hard to take on and off the belt. It hurt my soft little fingies. I swapped them out for Gcode clips after doing a little bit of hardware swapping and i like it much better.
Its not a very deep concealment holster, but still nice overall.

First of all- it is a keeper. The overall quality is superb and the fit is great. Also, good luck finding a Zev/TLR-7HX combo. Thank you for making one.
Now for a few points that you can possible address to make it perfect. The metal clips - forget it if you have a leather belt. Not only it’s very difficult to pry them open to fit over a thicker belt - even if you do, you will absolutely destroy the leather by the sharp edges of the clips. And even if you use a web belt - it is always a struggle to fit the metal clips over it and to remove. There is no need for such brutal retention- nice plastic clips will do just fine. Please consider using them.
Another point to improve - please consider having a clip wing as an option. It goes a long way to make the rig more flexible and to reduce printing. Especially if the wing is used on the claw side.
