I love it. Got it to match my holster. Had to do some modifications to get it to work. Seems like the kydex lip at the top wasn't formed right. And the screws dug into my mag when sitting or retrieving it. So I hit them with some sand paper. Works fine now.
I’ve tried a lot of mag carriers and holsters , and I must say Hellhound Arms has it dialed in. They rival Tier1 concealed, but with what seems to be a better quality control with properly torqued screws on mag carriers and holsters. Hellhound comes right out of the box ready to go with no messing with screws or adjustments. The fit and retention is the best on the market.
Mags are able to be gripped tightly in the holder by the rubber washers, preventing them falling out accidentally. The mag holder is drilled for right and left side mounting it appears, so you can switch between rounds forward or rounds rearward by just swapping the monoblock clip around.
This mag carrier is amazing, the only thing is that I received a Deep Carrry one instead of the regular one I ordered.. and since it is that deep, it's kinda uncomfortable when riding motorcycle... I'll be using it more to get used to, but the regular carrier would have been better for me.
