Purchased a phalanx series holster for my FN 509c tactical. Messaged ahead of time to make sure that the tactical version could work in the holster with the threaded barrel and was answered promptly to add it to the comments of the order and it would be addressed. Added two deep concealment mag holsters to the order as well as the pillow for IWB carry.
The holster: well made, very sturdy, I added the cordura wrap (very nice and well worth the extra). The retention is excellent with a nice click. Feels very high end. Have mainly carried IWB as I ordered during summer, but I think the OWB setup is going to be nice for cooler temps. Haven’t used the pillow yet, but looks well made and is adjustable to how thick you need it.
Mag carriers: also well made and retention is excellent. Ride very low so concealment is excellent. Also did the cordura wrap and is worth the money. They look and feel very high end.
Overall: my experience with Hellhound has been great. There was a bit of a shipment error (they only sent one mag carrier in the order), but it was addressed very quickly and wasn’t a big deal (easy mistake to make). I would highly recommend this company and am already looking at other holsters to order for other pistols I own.
